among the members of the Society, but shall be given or trans- ferred to some other institution or institutions, having aims and objects similar to the aims and objects of the Society, and whị shall prohibit the distribution of its or their income and property among its or their members to an extent at least as great as is imposed on the Society under or by virtue of the provision afore- said, such institution or institutions to be determined by the members of the Society at or before the time of dissolution, or in default thereof by a judge of the Supreme Court having juris- diction in regard to charitable funds and if so far as effect cannot be given to the aforesaid provisions then to some charitable object.

The Hong Kong Housing Society, not being a corporate body, cannot hold any property in its own name, and it is, there- fore, thought desirable that it should become a corporate body, in order to enable it to carry out its aims and objects more effectively.
